This month we are recognizing Phone Free February. As part that we are highlighting brands that have encouraged their customers to go distraction and/or phone free in the most inspiringly beautiful ways.
If you’ve seen a distracted driving ad you’ve probably been reminded of the horrible but real consequences of driving distracted. The statistics are overwhelming; you’re 6.1 times more likely to crash from texting while driving, and 12.2 times more likely to crash from dialing a phone. Ad after ad shows the death and destruction that results.
At TrueMotion we believe that the messaging around the issue needs to change. Awareness can be brought through positive messages, because drivers inherently what to do the right thing and we all want cultivate what is best, some of us just need more reinforcement than others.
