We’re excited to announce that we’ve teamed up with RapidSOS to connect car crash data with 911 personnel.
First responders typically rely on limited information from a 911 call. This limited information can delay emergency response times. Slow response times are responsible for 14% of auto fatalities in cities and suburbs and 10% in rural areas.
TrueMotion’s telematics data gives first responders the information they need to get people help fast — even if they’re unable to call 911.
EMS experts say the most important information to provide when calling 911 is your location. Our partnership with RapidSOS delivers the coordinates of the crash to 911 personnel, so they know the location of the crash. In addition to location, TrueMotion provides contextual data about the car crash, such as crash detection time, the driver’s name, and contact information.
You can learn more about the partnership with RapidSOS in the press release for the announcement.
